A more chilled out channeling this time with a more mildly tempered look at open styles of jazz from the likes of Eric Dolphy (from 1964's Blue Note release "Out to Lunch!" featurng Freddie Hubbard on the trumpet; this track "Hat & Beard" refers to Thelonious Monk) as well as a legendary live collaboration between Thelonious Monk and Mr. "John Coltraaaane"! Yet another peak at Flying Lotus's new sounds and a Carl Craig affiliated track I've been meaning to play for a long time: Bug in the Bassbin by his Innerzone Orchestra.
