100228 ep. 7 Channeling the Spirit of Jazz, vol. 2

Second instalment of the Channeling the Spirit of Jazz series with co-host Jérémie Coullon. Starts and ends under futurist inclinations while the rest of the show dusted off a few iconic figures, painting jazz under no rules. Also, a look at a bassist who blew me away at the Cafe Oto recently, Guillaume Viltard (pictured below), who's last album "Running Away" was released by http://unrevenu.free.fr/ last summer. Jérémie's contributions brought us the digital artistry of the Somnambulist Quintet and the fresher than fresh Electro Deluxe.

100214 ep. 6 with George!

It was a lot of fun compiling the tracks for this show as most of the bands on here I came across when I was around 14 (thanks epitonic.com for existing!) and getting more into guitar. In a sort of post punk math rock (very inventive pigeonholes there haha) vein... George (my ex-neighbour in Tizard haha) brought some genuine face melters to finish it off and as usual I stayed in the studio for 'after hours' sessions playing a few things you won't find on the playback ;) but anyway, you can listen to the rest again directly via http://www.icradio.com/replay/226472 (stream)

100207 ep. 5

Shorter affair this time around. Planning on sticking the shows on CDr's to pass around to friends, family, stray cats and extraterrestrialites. Things kept rolling live though but wandering into somewhat dubious territories and playing a few requests. Off the record. Hear the rest again via http://www.icradio.com/replay/226448
